The bc is a bit of a marathon rather than a sprint though isn't it? What about some little challenges to keep you motivated?
Onwards and downwards.
Yeah I need to make this a painless marathon that's for sure. I guess my new financial goals will be focused around earning extra money on top of my usual income. ...e.g. surveys, selling etc.My LBM May 2017, DH LBM July 2017- Total Debt (not Including Mortgage) £46444.23 £40773.61 /£46444.23 87.8% paid0 -

Good morning diary world
Well, what a fantastic day to wake up to!
Last Monday I decided to look into reclaiming my paid bank account fees. I remember years ago paying for my account but it wasn't for very long as I realised I didn't need to pay for it like I was convinced at the time (young and foolish)
I used the MSE resolver thing on this website, free and easy to use. .
the result? Last night my bank refunded me...a only a few hundred as I didn't have it long but it all helps :j:j I honestly can't believe how quick and painless that process was and I paid no one any fees.
So, this morning I've placed £300 into the Emergency Fund and paid another £100 off the BC :j:D

Hello Diary
Been quiet for a few days. I've been super busy catching up at work due to the unexpected days off last week. But Debt busting is still happening.

£37.94/£30 :j:j
So close to smashing all my September goals. I'm very happy.:D
Paid more off the BC from a Qmee payment and saving on parking today.
The MBNA payment is a combination of mine and DH's monthly contribution as that is made up of both our debts.
I was finally able to cash out to Circle for PA surveys. I was holding out as I had £10.20 pending. Decided to cash out Monday afternoon for payment today and a couple of hours later the £10.20 became payable!! Typical. Never mind. So that makes it £23.70 from PA cash out and its been placed into my annual bills pot.
I've managed to get a few more things on Ebay. One item sold within 30 mins using the BIN feature. Found that there is a parcel drop off place 2 minutes from where I work that opens until 8.30pm weekdays. It's slightly cheaper than the post office postage charges. It means that I can post things straight after work in the week, this allows for more selling flexibility now as previously I had to wait until Fridays to post anything.

Well done re smashing your survey goal, i think earning 50-60 is easily obtainable.
Try registering with these
Opinion Outpost
Swagbucks
Power of Opinions
and Opinium Research
All are nice little payers and will compliment PA well.Cashback Earnings YTD £46.04 Survey Earnings YTD £182.66

Hi Scott_Weiland,
I tried Swagbucks. I get screened out of most of the surveys. I really wasn't earning much, never got to payout stage over the months of having it. Not sure what I was doing wrong or if there are any tips.
I registered with Opinion Outpost but then forgot about it! Need to relook.
I'm also on Onepoll. This is a slow one. Can't cash out until £40. I have £11 so far and surveys are no more than 30p a time with most being 10p.
But I agree, the earning potential is great so I will most definitely look at the others you have suggested

With Swagbucks my first advice would be make sure you have the app on your smartphone
Its only one sb but theres a daily poll you can do via the app.
Next on there site theres a thing called the daily crave same again another sb for just watching silly news clips
Next just daily try all the gold surveys and peanut labs surveys i always do better with the peanut lab surveys than gold.
My final tip is just perservere with it if it takes 2-3 weeks thats what it takes. I spend alot of time doing surveys as i work 4 on 4 off
Stick with it.
Opinium Research is a really good one.Cashback Earnings YTD £46.04 Survey Earnings YTD £182.66

Just caught up on your diary and had to add my congratulations to the fantastic efforts you are making to get the debt down. Getting rid of the Hitachi loan, next and new look accounts was a very wise move as they are expensive debts as are overdrafts so good to see them gone too.
Setting up an annual bills and emergency fund are again 2 really good moves and well done for getting your OH on board too.
I hope you reach your target of being under £30k by the end of the year. Mummy bear, so close to your September targets. How much over your targets can you go?
