Package account claim

Combo Breaker First Anniversary
in Reclaim bank & credit card charges
Hi all

I had a packaged account with Halifax which I believe was misold. Attempt to claim the charges back. Hit a brick wall. Am being sent a letter explaining why and how I can complain to the FOS.

Has anyone done this and succeeded?

    Plenty have succeeded.

    Those whose complaints were upheld could demonstrate that they neither used nor needed the benefits of the paid account and that they were effectively paying for nothing.

    Did you demonstrate this yourself? Why then was your complaint declined?

    its about 1 in 10 that succeed with the FOS.

    You dont mention your reason for complaint or the reason you were rejected. So, its hard to put any context on your potential for success vs others.
