Glitches logging in and replying to threads.

1)
I often encounter the same experience when logging in -
I get messages telling me i have entered incorrect user or password and to try again with only x number of 'trys' left.
Yet, i'm actually logged in !
Before it dawned on me that i was logged in i'd keep trying and eventually get logged out.
Is there something you could do about this to stop it from happening ?

2)
I have just had a new thing happen -
I'd typed out a reply in a thread and when i pressed the backspace key, to correct spelling, the whole page closed and gave me an error message.

Are these known bugs ?
Will you be able to address them ?

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about these.

Are they still happening for you this afternoon and have you seen anyone else mention these in the last few days?

Hi Andrea, thanks for replying,

I didn't notice it again yesterday nor this morning either.

I've also never seen these issues mentioned anywhere before !

The closing screen and error message when backspacing i'd not encountered before but the other message I see 60% of the time when logging in.

I do get this sometimes when attrempting to log in, although its when I'm not already logged in.

It is an error (as opposed to me inputting the incorrect ID (which I can see is correct) or password.
The reason I believe it is an error is twofold.
1. I can retype the password (as you cannot actually see what is typed) and still get the same error - it's unlikely I would mis-type my password twice, especially having been warned it was incorrect.
2. You normally get 5 attempts to sign in, with the number of attempts made (X) increasing with every false attempt.
When I get the error message (despite having input the correct details), and repeating the submission, the number X does not increase.

It's just happened again :mad:

I didn't think to take a shot of the screen in time though, sorry.

It tells me I've entered an incorrect password yet i'm actually logged in, I now know to look across the screen to see if I am logged in, beforehand I didn't think to do that and tried in vain to log in and just got the same message every time.

There's no consistency to the problem at all, totally unpredictable as to when it'll occur, sorry I can't give you more.

I've just experienced it again so have done as you suggested.
