Someone has told me that its better to take English £10 notes to Turkey rather changing to Lira over here. Any thoughts???

Yes that is the best way in my experience - take some turkish lira with you and then either use £'s there or change to turkish lirs - have funKeep the Faith:cool:0

Hi, we're off to Turkey in a couple of weeks too. I have a cash card with cirrus and link icons on it - do you think I'd be able to use it in Turkish ATMs? Be handy instead of carrying cash if I can.0

they'll take anything lol, lira euro pounds (english)
i changed 1 hundred here just to get me started and used my nationwide card at the atm as you get a far better rate than you do in resort.0 -
