well i will be elf hunting next week so if i find one i shall let you all know
think i remember seeing some cute elf/santa ish things in shaws though - think scouring charity shops will be a good idea but i was also thinking
getting just a white teddy/cuddly toy, some xmas material to make a bandana round its neck, winter bed blanket etc form the material.
then getting a letter written from mrs claus saying how this little friend has been moping round the house and is very sad because all his elf and reindeer friends arent around or are too busy getting ready for chrismtas to play with him/her and so she has decided that because he (my son) has been such a good boy that she decided he would have a nice time at his house and would my son be able to keep an eye on him until christmas eve when father christmas will collect him.
now jsut need to think of a festive name - so am going to use my sons name in a elf name making machinery bobber and see what i getMaking Changes To Save My LifeApril step goal ~ 25,021 of 130,000 steps complete so far0 -

My kids would have loved this when they were small. I've just sent the link to my dd in Oz, maybe they will do it although dgd is really too old it would still be fun.
loads of brilliant ideas on http://www.organisedchristmaselves.co.uk/News/topic=2.html... don't throw the string away. You always need string!

Hi,
This is the one I ordered and it arrived within a couple of days - just need to remove the cardboard tag (I'm going to leave the rolled up material scroll in his hand as the messages that go back to santa) - it's really sweet and I'm sure my 3 year old will love him.
