    Yes to this! When I'm swapping tales with the family, I don't call it gardening any more (i.e. faffing about with a trowel). I call it navvying :D

    GG - i like your thinking there!

    Well yesterday wasn't quite a NSD as it was my turn for milk in work. However i did resist the temptation to buy some shortbread bites, cookies or muffins. Much to everyone elses displeasure, so i offered to brew up twice which eased the abuse i got!

    Got this morning off to a similar start to yesterday in that our account ended in 3p, so i TT £1.03 instead. Though i'm now wondering where this will end... As we approach the end of week 1 of our double week shop our fridge is still pretty full so all going well. It will just be a trip for milk we think.

    Very little to report. It seems that the mid month financial activity slump has hit. Thank heavens for the daily TT to keep some progress going. And to that end i can report a TT of £1 today. I have no weekend jobs planned either which is nice, and i'm so glad now that i painted that fence on Monday. The fascias can wait another couple of weeks, as i don't want to peak too soon on the job list front!

    Quick update to report that 8 items have sold this evening. All cash towards DS2 birthday party in August, and more clutter removed from the house.

    76p TT this morning and very happy to report that the weekly pot will be 25% over our daily interest! In fact i'm fairly confident that our TT's this month will take care of our odd £15 at the end of our balance.

    Its official now my hayfever has properly kicked in. roll on the next 7 weeks of grumpiness! at least i know mine stops in July grrrr! i just wish they still give me the injection that got Bradley Wiggins in bother!!

    Hey, well done with rounding up the TTs, mine got slightly out of hand, rounding to the nearest ten pounds :eek: and in the dull bit before pay-day I try to go to the nearest fifty, if my profiled spend permits it. It sort of incentivises me a bit.

    I use a prescription nasal spray from April to end of Jan. I get everything going from tree pollens throughout the summer and then hit the leaf-mould, spores and fungus season come August. Think yourself lucky SJ! DH is like you - he uses the generic citirizine from whichever SM has them cheapest
