You can the non-pet version direct from Shark for £199 still, the only difference being that it does't come with the extra pet hair brush, but have a look at some of their other offers on at the moment. You can pick up the AX910UK and AX910UKT for only £229 or £249 respectively. The advantage these and the NV801 series have over the 700 is you can lift away the unit and still use the floor head, great for getting under furniture, particularly beds.

I've an older NV800UKT that I bought a couple of years back and it's been great, much better than the Dyson it replaced.

Edit: Forgot to mention they come with a 5 year, manufacturer's guarantee as standard.
