Money Tips Email

The last two emails: the arrival of each was announced at the top of my phone; when I clicked on the notification, my Samsung email app opens and the email disappears.

There's no sign of it anywhere, neither in deleted items or junk.

Any ideas?

    Hi Gummomarx

    Thanks for flagging.

I've let my colleagues know in case it's an issue with our weekly email.

    Andrea
Could you do with a Money Makeover?

Great to hear it! Thank you for updating us.

If you get any issues in future these notes may help you:

You can find the latest Weekly Email on our website at this link: http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/latesttip/

Internet service providers, email services and IT departments all work hard to protect you from all horrible spam, yet this means sometimes emails you actually want get lost too. Fortunately, there are ways to ensure you get the weekly Money Tips email:

    Your email software:

Put the Money Tips email address in your 'safe sender' list. You may also want to put the domain MoneySavingExpert.com in the list. Hotmail & Gmail users can add our email to your address book and you will always get the email.

    Your anti-spam software:

Anti-spam software - if you have anti spam software running on your machine such as Norton or Spam Assassin, add our weekly email email address and our domain moneysavingexpert to the safe sender list.

    ISP (Internet Service Provider):

If you are still struggling, the chances are your IT department or your ISP is blocking our email before it even gets near your machine. Please advise your ISP and IT department to allow emails to come through to you from the MoneySavingExpert.com email address and from our IP addresses 93.152.87.2, 93.152.87.3 and 93.152.87.4.

At long last, the mystery is almost solved.

I have a rule in Outlook that looks for certain words in emails - when it finds one, the email is then automatically deleted.

I have discovered by a tortuous proces of elimination that, when the rule finds the word 'keto' in the weekly email, the email gets deleted.

Now, I've done a simple search (outside the rules tool) of the email, and the word 'keto' doesn't get found.

Would your IT people know if there's a hidden word containing the letters 'keto' in the coding?
