Presumably though it won’t have been on continuously, just enough to maintain the temperature. Maybe half the time ?0

I have just discovered that a 60 watt pipe heater with no thermostat has been left switched on in my attic for over a year.
It was under the cold water tank.
I'm with Bulb paying 0.1351p per kWh so has it been costing me £59.19 a year as I have calculated or just £5.91 as my ex says?
Simple rule of thumb on energy saving & energy efficiency is that 1W used constantly for 1 year cost around £1 !!
Makes it quite simple really ... that 5W slightly warm DC transformer that's plugged into the wall is costing ~£5/year and the 3W one ~£3/year ...

I know that, that is what I told my ex and he said I was wrong.
