When I share a link to Google Plus it includes a nice picture, the headline of the article, and the link directly to the article. How brilliant is that. Not rocket science either. The question is an obvious and a simple one. Has MSE got any plans to bring it mobile web interface up to speed?

Hi - Im talking about this forum - It would be nice to be able to "share" articles to discuss here in the same way they are shared with social media platforms and so that when you post a webpage link, the media bot also includes the heading and picture from the same page
e.g.
If I ruled the world.......0 -
Thanks!
It's certainly one of the things we need.
We're going through a forum future consultation at the moment so it's not something we can work on now but it's definitely something to bear in mind in any replatform plans.

why do you need a picture to be able to share a link - what happens if you are just linking to text rather than a picture?0

In the case of Google plus it adds the main picture by default but clicking on the photo will cycle through all photos on the same page and the last cycle removes the photo altogether. I guess MSE could have a separate button for sharing photo (rich) links or plain text linkswhy do you need a picture to be able to share a link - what happens if you are just linking to text rather than a picture? If I ruled the world.......0
