Cultivating 'real' friendships is helping (not that you friends are REAL, just that I need some I can actually SEE once in a while)
Also, I have decided to stop being the one doing all the relationship work all the time, iykwim...Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
I know what you mean. I mean !!!!!! I have a Friday night with no obligations and I will be cleaning the kitchen because I have no one to invite round for vino and a gossip.26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

I know exactly what you mean, DH comes home and says 'I am out Sat night, next Thurs' etc etc. He goes on motorcycle runs and I sit at home.
I was a bit fed up with seeming to be making a lot of effort with friends that wasn't being reciprocated...Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
Me 'n' Hubbles have had a very constructive chat about our debt, most specifically the cc debt. He has used savings to clear Amex joint card which built up a bit while I was unemployed. We still have a good £3k in the pot towards a new house next year but probably need £20k (:eek:) to get deposit etc. He will be sweeping what he has left in his account each month into savings on top of 250 SO each month. We will review the position come Christmas.
Ages ago he took a CC of mine over on 0% transfer but that has long expired but he has been plodding on with it while I wasn't working. At the moment he pays about £75 a month but nearly £50 is being added in interest which is much higher than either of my cards. Well I am earning enough now (I think) to take this on and chuck about £200 a month at it while he has agreed to continue paying the £75 each month. I need to add just under 3,300 to my total debt signature so am looking at about £10k in total. Of this about 1000 is my loan which will be paid off come December freeing up another 156 to throw at cards. I hope to have shifted my personal debt by the time I turn 38 in 375days...
Right, payday is approaching so lets have a look...
Income 2057
Joint Account (1100)
Monthly DDs (555) - includes minimum payments on debt (incl Barclaycard)
'Free' cash 402 :eek::D
Flipping heck! That's heaps more than I thought I would have after taking back Barclaycard:o Well we are on our holidays this month (2 weeks chez the Parents) so will have a wee bit of cash to spend doing stuff then in August can start saving for Xmas, Hubbles' birthday and Xmas presents and perhaps a holiday to Switzerland with Gems next spring:D
Oh and I cut it pretty fine this month in the end - I will have precisely 16p left this month after paying my last DD :rotfl: - not bad really considering I have made 2 loan payments, had a 200 pound shopping spree and a wonderbra meet all off one salary26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073
