    Pay day today:j

Have moved enough to cover month's DDs and travel card into savings acct and set up payments so its back in my current account when they come due.

Need to be a bit careful this month because I am going to have a day's pay docked next month for being off sick:( Apparently I don't get it paid cos I'm still inmy probation period:( Not drastic given how much leeway I seem to have - lose about 126 gross - but is that much less to chuck at CC or OD:(

Still - on the plus size I am actually earning again and look set to be here for a while so it'll all work out:D

In other money news was checking Santander yesterday and they are apparently willing to lend us well over what we expected to be getting so long as we have a 10% deposit. With fees etc I reckon we'll need at least 20k pot to be able to move:eek:

    Payday=monthly budget time.

Got paid slightly less this month because of sick day during probation:(

    Income: 1970

    Expenditure
    Joint account: 1000
DDs etc : 532 (2 4week travel cards payable in August)

    Surplus: 438

I really want as much of this as possible to come off the Barclaycard so aim is for 20NSDs this month. Fitness drive means lunches from home so should be easily doable...

Shall ignore the necessity for new work shirts for another month. In fact aim to buy NO CLOTHES in July (this could be a toughy as could really use those shirts and some gym kit...)

Right, need to work out when DDS are due and move money around accordingly.

    Toodle pip!

Well ended up buying shirt (and trousers) today but at less than 30 for both it would've been rude not to:o

In a more MSe note we went to Bookers and got a load of meat. I have bagged and frozen 18 meals worth of chicken breast (17.99 for the lot), 8 meals worth of porl loin (£11) and 15 meals worth of bacon (10.99) plus a couple rashers fro brekkie tomorrow, got cat litter and cleaning sprays for much cheapness (2 750ml flash sprays for 1.99), 24 1ltr cartons of apple/orange juice for just over £8 and 3kg of pasta for £3.45. Quite pleased with that:A:money: Oh and 440 Tetley teabags for £9.50.

Bookers are excellent for meat, we stock up the freezer once a month and it saves us a fortune! I did make the mistake once of freezing 5lb of chicken without bagging it the other week though... got reeaaaaaaally bored of chicken :o

It's all looking good and I am soo in awe of your fitness drive!

It would have been rude to leave the shirt and trousers at that price ;)
