Does anyone here use Interactive Investor? £10 a trade flat rate apparently, and my dad recommends them! But I'd like to hear a few more opinions if anyone has one?
Thanks.0 -
can someone please clarify they(tdwarerhouse) only charge the fee if you dont trade at least once, per quarter? Im probably reading it incorrectly but its confusing me a bit.0

I've just (Mon 15/6) applied online to join HB execution only service, and they appeared to accept my application. I was joining because of Selftrade's imposition of annual fee (I only do a couple of trades a year max). I need to move from Selftrade by end of this month to avoid. Anybody know where I might stand?A bank is a place that will lend you money if you can prove you don't need it.0

i was going to shout at you for not seeing the trade fee on sharecrazy, it does say in big red letters on their homepage.
ps there are no fees, management, inactivity so just use that, it was all online verification so u dont usually need to send paperwork.
not sure about transferring in tho, call them.Target Savings by end 2009: 20,000
current savings: 20,500 (target hit yippee!)
Debts: 8000 (student loan so doesnt count)
new target savings by Feb 2010: 30,0000 -
In the same boat bob, joined less than 2 months ago and have so far only traded twice. hoping itll be minimum trade of once per quarter as I will do that easily.
guessing youll end up with the request, and have the choice to switch on the 10th with the rest.0 -

If the balance of your account (stocks plus cash plus funds plus whatever else is in it), is over £5,000, they won't charge you anything.
If you have traded at least once in the quarter, they won't charge you anything no matter what your balance is.
If your balance is under £5k, and you haven't traded in the quarter, they will deduct an inactivity fee. I can't remember how much offhand, think it's £25.0 -
