First Post Name Dropper First Anniversary I've been Money Tipped!
I’m doing some renovations during the summer and will be replacing my old tv for a larger one.
I’m thinking os a sound bar. I’m thinking of a Bluetooth one but worried that the picture and sound won’t sync is this an unfounded worry?

Considering that the TV & the soundbar won't actually connect by Bluetooth (or none that I'm aware of) I'd say yes, that's an unfounded worry.

They usually connect for audio only via optical or HDMI lead.

As about.....if it's "Bluetooth" it means it can be connected via Bluetooth to other devices such as mobile phones and tablets etc.
My Yamaha 'musiccast' soundbar has several installed apps such as Spotify and Deezer so you can play your music via those apps on the soundbar rather than using the app on a bluetooth connected device.

Forget Bluetooth for taking the TV sound to the bar as you'll get a huge delay. They're great for music streaming off your phone but that's about it. Best to find a way to connect it properly, even if it means mounting a super thin Optical cable out of sight.
