Evening everyone :hello:
Glad the thread (well new variation) is back up and running. I'd only managed to catch up with all the posts last night so it looks like I got my timings right
I've been potting, not coins but notes. Sadly that means my tin doesn't make a satisfying 'clink clink' noise but happily it means I should be all the more richer for it in November.VSPC 2019 #10 - £168.80/£100 VSPC 2020 #4 - £262.03/£200 VSPC 2021 #9 - £242.88/£200 VSPC 2022 #3 - £188.03/£200 VSPC 2023 #7 - £0/£2000 -

No potting since Wednesday, when I scored no less than 4 £2 coins for my subset of this challenge, saving £2 coins. I attend family history group, where the weekly fee is £2. I think I am going to do quite well there in the savings department! I must have looked a little strange bending over this pile of £1 and £2 coins, beaming and rubbing my hands with glee. Was I was a saint only taking the 4 £2 coins and leaving all those £1 coins? Nope! I only had a tenner in cash to exchange. Will try to take more next week:D:D:D:D:D
Sorry for all the kerfuffle over the disappearing thread, its seems most people havent managed to locate this new one yet.Navigating this site isnt the easiest process at the best of times if you dont keep your groups bookmarked, but when they mysteriously disappear its even worse!:eek:0 -

Hi Sue! Me again...fell into a big black hole last year...may I join afresh please? Many thanks.
I see from the list that Sue has reallocated your number because you didn't return, however it's great you're back with us and Sue will allocate you a new number when she passes by.
Meantime, I suggest you read the first post again, just to refresh your memory, and put the opening date in your diary/calender/reminder whatever.
Don't forget to change your number when you get a new one and pop back as often as you can, that might keep you out of the black hole this year :rotfl: and certainly helps with the potting.

Writing a post so I can find you again .
I was just about to go to bed (at nearly 2.30am !!),when I thought I would wander over and see what was going on in SPC land, only to find there were no SPC posts in my history :eek::eek::eek:.Kept scrolling back, thinking "No,I only posted a day or 2 ago."Suddenly I was reading my history back to Christmas, then I thought I must have been banned from the thread for too much non-potting chat :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:.
Sue,I saw your thread asking the powers that be where our thread went. How on earth could enough people mark this thread as spam that it gets pulled????
Now I've got to go and pot some money before going to bed :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.SPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76

A good way to always find this thread is to subscribe to it, at the top of it is a "Thread Tools" section, click subscribe and whenever you need to find it quickly click on the User CP tab and it will list all the threads you've subscribed to and show any new posts
On the potting front I'm doing quite well, I bought a very large tin this year so I don't think it will be filled to the brim by November, but, you never know :rotfl:MFiT-T6 #17

Husband has now started adding money to the pot now too - so fingers crossed for a good amount at the beginning of November! I was missing my daily update emails so realised something had happened, just managed to subscribe again (I think!)
Anyway have been potting every few days but I'm not keeping a count as I want it to be a surprise....Sealed pot challenge - 12 - #0040
