Hargreaves Lansdown Exit Fees

Options
I moved my Stocks and shares ISA to HL last summer from Barclays. This was when Barclays were changing to Smart Investor, and HL were obviously trying to attract customers. In the paperwork at the time I'm sure that they specified that a new investor could transfer out within a year without exit fees (up to 15 stocks). I don't have a copy of the documentation and now they are denying they ever had such an offer.
does anyone else remember such an offer?

I use Hargeaves Lansdown and have never heard of this offer.

Very much doubt it existed. As they are the most expensive for larger amounts, people like you could just use them for a year and transfer out.

They have offered cashback to transfer in, but never free to transfer out.

Interactive Investors allow you to transfer out free of charge in the first year so may be you are confusing them with HL.

Have you looked into the cost of selling them and withdrawing as cash rather then withdrawing as they are?
