Economy 7 boilers over-rated - help!

Options
Advice appreciated. I live in a ground floor flat and at present when I have my boilers on timer they seem to overheat so much, they generate lots of heat and the cold water in the bathroom runs warm. This doesn't happen to the cold water in the kitchen, however.

I'm currently managing the situation by turning the timer off every other day to ensure I have water and to cool the system down. Any advice and solutions, greatly appreciated. Thanks.

There should be a thermostat which will stop the hot water heating above a certain temperature even if you have the immersion heater on.
Sound like this thermostat is not working or set too high and the water is boiling then passing through the expansion pipe into the cold water tank, that is why the cold water to the bathroom is warm.
