    Just had a letter from Santander saying although there was PPI attached to the card, there is no evidence that I ever used it... which is weird as I still have some old till receipts from that card and I never, ever cleared balances in those days... Hmmm...

    Of course, it's entirely possible to have had credit card PPI without ever paying it.

    It's also entirely possible that you did pay and records no longer exist after so long...

    However, if you cannot find evidence of PPI payments from your own archive, both your complaint efforts and your posts here will remain utterly futile I'm afraid.

    You may be sceptical of the Bank's response, but the fact remains that you'll never know for sure one way or the other...

    Till receipts only show that you made purchases using your card, not that you paid any insurance policy.
