    He is a goodun

Super busy day, took children to swimming lessons, came home and went for a run. Dd then decided she wanted to go and play tennis so I had to find a burst of energy. Needless to say, hardly anything has got done around the house today.

DH was horrified when he realised the cheque for a half term of lessons was for £110. I deal with all the finances (at his request) and I really don't think he realises what we spend on certain things.
Paid my last £8 off the cc and have £15 in my purse to last until Friday. That is ample, we should only need bread, bananas and milk.
MAC code arrived for me to give new bb supplier but the relevant department isn't open on a Sunday. How inconvenient.

Although, as a child....I remember hardly anything being open on a Sunday and if it was, just for a few hours. How times and equally our expectations change.

Have a super stressful week ahead in work which I am rather nervous about. However, new challenges are a learning curve and I am well supported.

Very little money news apart from keeping spends low. Fortnightly pay is doing nothing for my motivation, how will I manage when DH gets paid monthly :rotfl:

All washing caught up with, DH got a load in when he got in from work and did another load and got that dry. He really is on form this week. :D

I should be able to make some good OP's on Friday, we are currently managing on a very small disposable income so could afford to alter the budget a little. However, I do need to mindful of the date DH switches from fortnighly to monthly pay as that might be a shock. I currently use all of my wages to pay bills, nursery fees, pension etc so might switch it around a little so I actually have some left. That could take some brain power :D

Broadband switchover has been sorted out. I have provided my MAC code so there should be no break in service. :) cashback tracked that day so hoping I don't have to wait 6 months for it to become payable. There is very little other TCB activity happening so might have a nose on there if I get time to see if I am missing out on anything.

Have a good day everyone, is it wrong to be counting down to the weekend?

Just stopping by to say 'hi' I've caught up with your diary over the last couple of weeks and I'm amazed at how much you've managed to fit in over the last few years. Very inspiring.:) I'll be following the rest of your diary with interest.

Hi mortgage girl, thanks for reading. I had a bit of a break last year as life was so crazy retraining for my new job but am happy to be back. I read your diary too and you are doing great :D

Has been a quiet week which I started with £15 in my purse. Needed to buy eggs, bread, milk. And treated dd to a chocolate bar yesterday so have £9.50 left. Am pretty pleased with that! :j

Still have £20 in cc account so can add that to payments made tomorrow when DH gets paid. Cheque cleared for swimming lessons which left 25p in account, added that to 8p found in another account and made a 33p Tilly tidy :D

DH is doing the food shop today, we had a £7.50 off £50 till spit for Mr S so he has gone armed with a list. Apart from the odd treat he is pretty good at sticking to it.he did a huge amount of overtime the last couple of weeks so I can either make a big OP or get us on track for monthly pay which hits us next month. I need to do some sums and midweek is not the time for that.

Most of my stressful week is over but more events are happening which is making me wish the rest of the week away. However, this is what I trained for and unfortunately the downside to the job. Am hoping to feel a bit less stressed by the end of the day.

Hurry up payday tomoro, I have money shuffling to do!

I really need to sort out our broadband provision. We've been with Plu5net for 3 years, but the quality of connection has absolutely tanked of late. We're lucky to get 30 minutes of streaming without the connection dropping. Unfortunately as well as the connection degradation, our bill has gone up, so they can fix both or find themself another customer ;)

Our connection with current supplier is great so hoping new one is just as good. Hope you manage to strike a better deal or find an alternative.

My stressful working week is almost over. Am out of the office tomoro so be less stressful. Now just to resist Friday's wine which is chilling!
