Lifetime ISA Application Failed at HMRC Check?

Options
I've just tried to apply for the Newcastle Building Society Lifetime ISA, but I have been unable to proceed beyond the first step because it says:

"Unfortunately we’ve been unable to find you on the HMRC database meaning either your name, date of birth or national insurance number haven’t matched or have been input incorrectly."

My name, date of birth, and national insurance number are 100% input correctly... I even logged in to HMRC to double check everything was correct, and it is.

I have emailed their customer support to ask advice...

Has anyone else had this problem?

Assume it is not something obvious like mixing up a zero with the letter O?

Hopefully their customer service can resolve for you.
