Morning all :j
Up early for a flea market, spent a few pounds on stuff to sell on, but no 'personal' spends, so, as my business costs are accounted for separately as required by HMRC, I am claiming a NSD
Not a great night's sleep again, but we are where we are...
CBA to go shopping at all, so I have a loaf in the breadmaker, am about to make scones for snacks, and will do a steak and mushroom pie for dinner Steak, mushrooms and onions bubbling in the SC, pastry resting in the fridge. I am shopping mostly from home this month due to the (boring) expense of having to buy 4 tyres, and have so far spent only about a quarter of my grocery budget. Not bad for half way through the month
Second picking of lovely pink forced rhubarb cooking slowly in oven, must get that out shortly. Removed the big pot that was convering the crown and top dressed it with compost. It can get on and do its thing naturally now
Also picked 3 beautiful double daffodils that had been blown about by the wind (cold wind is back with a vengeance today, and it keeps raining every now and then as well ). I don't remember planting a double white daffodil, but it is absolutely stunning and I may as well enjoy it in the kitchen as leave it to be blown into the soil
Have started a shopping list (for when I can be bothered to go) it has things like flour, loo paper, coffee etc on it, so I will need to go at some point soon. Also need some more compost for the garden pots.
Invited brother for dinner, usually do on Sundays Not much trouble making an extra portion, as long as I don't have to do it every day!0 -

Morning folks
Been a funny old weekend here. Way too much socialising and I'm knackered! I did keep to my goals of keeping my drinking down to a minimum though! 5.1 units on Sat and 3 units yesterday
So tired from the late nights though and I have a tricky thing to do in work today!
I managed to get out into the garden for a few hours again yesterday. It's starting to look nice. I baited the slug trap with yeast mixture. Hopefully it's more tempting than my primroses! I've applied dab-on weed killer to the ground elder in the border. I do this each year and it keeps it at bay. I also weed killered the gravel path behind my house. I don't like using the stuff, but I think next door is away and so their cat won't tread on it. You don't get any wildlife going on that section cos it's too enclosed and near to the house.
The mission:- B/D from stores. Didn't get a chance to do the big shop so off to do it at lunchtime. - done.
- Stick to list at shop - done. All in for £25
- Walked back to work with big shop. Free exercise (carried approx. 15kg for 0.5 miles) - done
- Tidy round at home
- Reconcile budget sheet. Spends AWFUL this month.
- Charge phone in work
- Currently using said Mooncup! - done
- Washing out onto line when I get home as it's supposed to come dry overnight and tomorrow
- Check slug trap - possibly move to another location
- Bought nematodes to eat slugs. Researched lowest price - done
- No alcohol
- Not going anywhere this evening. Snuggle up and have an early night I think!

Hi April Awesomees,
Finally, it's Le Weekend. Yay. Sitting here with a Bourbon celebrating having survived my first week in the other workplace. I'm exhausted. And I've been very brave.
Debt-Free-Nillionaire Continuity Plan Year Three:
* Work very hard on my own mental health issues. Do Holistrio App.
* Check online banking and broadband usage.
* Turned off alarm clock until tonight, it resets itself automatically.
* Went for a free, local 30 min walk with DW just now. Came upon a swan's nest and a kestrel. Took photos from a respectful distance with a zoom lens. Photos are in the usual place for all you birdo-philes out there. Also watched the model boats on the boating pond. Yesterday I saw a vixen and fox club as I left nightshift yesterday morning. Didn't have a camera on me, though. And nearly despatched a male pheasant this morning coming through the hills.
* Been listening to audio story CDs in the car on my l.o.n.g. commute. Thanks for the suggestion Foxgloves.
* Drove an extra 10 miles to work last night. Missed my turning on the motorway.
* Explored work's kitchen to see what facilities there are for snacking. Pleased to see real mugs, not plastic cups.
* Making huge use of the Holistrio App right now. Tried the Deep Sleep meditations yesterday and I was asleep before the meditation had finished. (There is a charge for this App. I have a discount code if anyone wants it. However, in my case this App is making a huge difference to my mental health.)
* Kind acquaintance sent me a lipbalm. It's amazing. Thank-you.
Actually, I'd like to say thanks to everyone in this forum for all your kind words and support lately. Love you all. :heart2:

Swagbucks
Tea at Mum's (hoping she'll eat more as we're there too)
