    Hi!

Tiger feet wow! Congratulations. Exciting times ahead xx

Well I have about £6 to last until the 30th. DH picked up some yoghurts and treats to tempt DS as he was unwell earlier in the week and he spent £20 on a treat meal on Sunday. He is also addicted to ys shopping. Both times he visited the sm he came back with bags of meat and fish that was too good to walk away from! It is nice he is on board but there is NO freezer space left now and I had two attempts at freezer tetris yesterday to ensure nothing is wasted. It does mean I will start May stocked up which is nice.

Off to make lunch now for me and DS. He likes to try and dress himself. Last week he insisted on wearing 3 pairs of pants and this week it is tops. He must have four on today! (he is two)

    xx

Its just a concoction that my fridge n larder inspired.

I just dry fried a couple of teaspoons of cumin seeds till they jumped around. Then I added a spot of oil and fried up an onion.
The roasted peppers were skinned and deseeded (reserve the generous amount of juice they release whilst you prepare them and add it to the stock!).
I popped these in the pan along with my lentils then added stock (mine was saved from previous meals).

    Simmer, season and blend.

    :)

I love soups as you couldn't go wrong even if you tried. :D
If you have garlic/fresh herbs then add em by all means!!!!

Many thanks, i have some orange peppers too wrinkled for salad, i have googled for a tear & share bread recipe so will do both for sunday evening.
Baking afternoon on Sunday big oven will be going on.

Sorry to hear you have water in the kitchen. I live in a hose pipe ban area. Not that I water my garden - dog is a weapon of mass destruction!

Sorry to be MIA. It has been a really strange time the last week or so. But after much to-ing and fro-ing and several interviews and discussions my DH has been offered a job... in Abu Dhabi. So sometime in August we will be emigrating :j. So As from next month I will be trying to rein my spending in as much as possible to save for passports and such.

I have busted the budget this month so I am going for damage limitation and spend as little as I possibly can for the next 3 days. There is a couple of things I will need before the end of the weekend but I am hoping to keep it under a tenner.

Oh fabulous news, so very pleased for you.

YS means Yellow Stickered, otherwise known as 'whoopsied' or reduced items :)

Well, my folks had herby omelette topped with Mexicana cheese and grilled to finish off. This was served with tiny roasted potatoes and cabbage n carrots.

Pud was a 2 minute microwave sponge with an overripe banana mixed into the mixture. (With custard of course!)

I'm just about to make up some cheats herby bread to go with the soup I made yesterday for our tea.

Will declare April's final figure tonight.
