The Last Furlong

Been round these parts before , just want a home now for the final push to be debt free . Not putting a definite date on it , but roughly around Summer 2020 would be good.

I have around £2900 left to go ,not a lot in the scheme of things but enough to keep me on with the budgeting and being careful with the spends . Have learnt lots of useful tips and used advice from these forums over the past while.

Here's to getting the Sunshine girl over the finishing line

Hello. First time I've been second post I think. I'll be with you for the journey. Small debts can be remarkably persistent but I'm sure with a bit of time and some NSD's you'll get there
I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine
  • Good luck on your debt free mission Sunshine Girl. I've subscribed :).

  • That's a good amount of cashback. Is that insurance for twelve months?

Another beautiful sunny morning, it's been a lovely week. Tomorrow I am de cluttering my wardrobe , and hoping to get a capsule wardrobe for the summer. I am sure I will have lots of stuff to put on eBay.

I find if I have too many clothes I just go for the same things all the time .

Hoping for NSD 5 today .

Good luck with the de-cluttering. I love the idea of a capsule wardrobe :). I do try to stick to certain classic styles and colours that I know suit me, won't date quickly and that are good for mixing and matching.

Hi there - good luck with the final furlong - I've subscribed.

Nothing like a good old pared down wardrobe - I sorted a few things out myself last weekend - couple of pairs of trousers that was slightly too small initially but now fit - however I found that I didn't really care for them anymore! Off to the charity shop they went!

Have a good weekend Sunshine. Are you up to anything special apart from the de-cluttering?
