Was a few years ago when young and stupid i did 96 hours. Took me over a week to get over it but I was performing a specialist role and a multi-million pound contract depended on my fault finding ability
Best paid week i have ever done with the bonus i got when I solved the issue though0 -
Three 12hr shifts back to back - severe staffing issues where a nasty tummy bug ripped through everyone.
I was covered on each shift for a pushed together three-hour break when it was the only time cover could be provided and i took the opportunity to sleep - fitfully.
I was ok till 0400 on the last morning when I went a little bonkers - but pushed through to the 0800 handover. I was driven home.
got into bed and was wide awake lol.
luckily I was on leave for three weeks so no lasting issues - but never again.0 -
It was when I worked in a University Admissions office, and the day the results came out. In the office for about 6am, left about 9pm. That was the Thursday, and I'd also worked both days of the preceding weekend (around 5-6 hours on each), then three longish days in between. There is so much work to do in such a short timeframe.0

Not a working 'day' which I was directly involved with, but when I worked for a leasing company a couple of the guys went to the USA to take delivery of the first of a new model of a Boeing aircraft. Long time ago so don't remember the details. They flew from Heathrow to wherever in the US the plane was, took delivery and then travelled straight back in that plane. They were 'on the clock' for the entire time so that was probably over 30 hours from the time they left home to getting back. Yes they got some kip on the plane but still officially working.0

Well if we're including travel, only 2 weeks ago I woke up at 9am (UK -5) in the US for a lunchtime meeting, had a flight back the UK leaving at 9.20pm (UK - 5), flew through the night and landed at 8.45 uk time. Then drove from Heathrow to Birmingham for a trade show and drove back to return home for around 6pm. So in UK time it was 1pm (-1 day) - 6pm or 29 hours. Was a few years ago when young and stupid i did 96 hours.
You stayed awake for 96+ hours? OkKnow what you don't0 -

Around 9, I don't tend to get involved in excessive working hours, life is short enough as it is.Don’t be a can’t, be a can.0

Did a school trip abroad. 12 midnight on Saturday night start. Bed at normal time around 11pm-12am, so 24 hours. Up at 4am the next day too :-S. Needless to say, it never happened like that again !0

I occasionally work on elections. I get up at 3.45 and leave home at 4.15 ready for a 6am start. I have worked as late as 23.15 and get home about 1am.
Where I work, polling station staff work 6am to 10pm and are not allowed to leave the building.
In my proper job, I occasionally worked through the night to make a deadline, so about 30 hours.0
