Fly BMI claim money back

Options
I had a Fly BMI flight booked for April as I have a charity place at the Paris Marathon. I booked and paid for the flights via Expedia but did use my M&S credit card.....only last week did I then do a balance transfer to MBNA. Questions are - am I likely to be able to claim my flight cost back and if so who do I try and claim from....M&S, MBNA or Expedia??
I now cant afford any other flights so will lose my hotel costs now aswell as likely to forfeit my place  :(

As you booked through an agent, Expedia, you should contact them, as stated in the release.

Did Expedia offer Scheduled Airline Failure Insurance ?

You did not pay directly with your card, so a refund that way looks highly unlikely.

You make mention of a hotel as well. Did you book this at the same time via Expedia? If so you could well have ATOL protection.

Expedia should be your first point of contact.

Thanks guys....as I thought with the credit card. Will contact Expedia first. I booked hotel and flight separately :(

Where are you based? Perhaps we can look for alternative transport for you.
