:TI have sorted my wool stash into colour groupings. My first project this year will be to make a knee blanket and matching shawl for when I am driving. The rest of the wool will be used for twiddle muffs for the local hospital.

I have written it down so I am now committed. I haven't been doing much craft wise for a good few years. I have a lot of supplies because of good intentions but never had the time or motivation for follow through. I hope by the end of the year i will have shifted some of it and made some lovely items too.

Thanks Nimbo for kickstarting us for 2018 :D

Please can I join again. It keeps me motivated. I count items I’ve made rather than individual pieces. I’m aiming high. Can I go for a target of 35 please.

I’ve already done three projects so can you put me down for 3/35 please x

I’m trying to clear out my craftroom at the moment as some stuff I will never use. I’m quite enjoying it x

    Thankyou to all posters:D

    Hi all -

I have been feeling pants so stayed in today... I have used up 15 little bits and have decorated a polystyrene ring. I was going to make it into a unicorn mobile with it - but have now added one tassel and plan to juts add two more as i like it the way its covered now. (wrapped with lots of embroidery threads)...

Mended anoter leather bag for work - FINISHED

Unicorn mobile - morphed into a rainbow wrapped ring with tassels... FINISHED

I hope you've all been busy and enjoying the weekend.

Accidentally posted my target in the 2017 thread. I think I will go for 12 items this year and hope for more.
Trouble is I am having difficulty selecting colours for my knee blanket. i have come to the conclusion that I should just make it multi coloured and not worry about it. This sort of proctrastination is why I have a huge stash as it is. Got to make a decision and stick to it.

I hope everyone has had a peaceful weekend.

Hiya bit by bit - I’d added you from the other thread. :)

I’ve managed to use up another three skeins of embroidery thread.

35 so far. (Tried to use n iron on transfer yesterday - didn’t work but the stash was busted) I’d forgotten.

I’m planning to get at least one thing made a week. It probably won’t last but it’s the aim.

    Hi everyone,
Its great to see this thread which I started many moons ago is still going strong and lovely to see some familiar faces along with new people taking part. :T
I'd love to join in if I may. Sadly in my absence my stash seems to have grown to unbelievable proportions (which shows this thread works I suppose) :) so I'm going to set myself a target of 700 makes this year if that's ok? :p
I have to admit I have started (a New's years resolution was made) and have made 31 items already :)
It feels great to be back - stashbusting here I come :):D
