Searching for Things to do when retired 27th Oct 19 at 6:06 PM
Just wondering where people have looked to find things they might be interested in doing when retired.

    I've seen:-
Just searching on google for things such as "art classes" "language learning" or whatever.
    Local council evening class website.
    U3A websites

Any others? Not including any that might be region specific though.

We have a monthly magazine promoting local firms. It has a section on churches, choirs, walking groups and various organisations which depend on volunteers.

I did volunteer with one, in spite of the number bring wrong.

I volunteer at our local hospital, and have done for six years. There are lots of different volunteering opportunities, including work in Outpatients and on the wards themselves. Due to a recent Daily Mail campaign, we have 40 new volunteers which is great. I really enjoy working in a completely different environment to that which I was in during employment.
