my question is, will they forward the appeal on to Corporate Parking Management? And admin staff in the building may well know .... I'd start with themPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks for all the replies.
I have searched the land registry for the building in question and it turns out they don’t own the car park.
The car park itself isn’t listed on the land register when I search under the postcode for nearby buildings. I’m assuming because it doesn’t actually have a postal address?
Is there any other way of finding out who owns the land? If it isn’t owned by the building I work in, is it even worth trying to find out who it does belong to?0 -
I also spoke to management, they don’t know who owns the land either.
They did say that they got a ticket last year and just appealed via Corporate Parking website and was successful.0 -

Hmmm! I think they do know! Try whoever is in charge of adjacent premises perhaps? Or indeed admin staff, on the assumption that some of their work will involve communicating with the landowner.0 -
Sent my email yesterday using the template, and got this reply today.
"The appeal has been reviewed. The parking attendants photographs and pocket notes (as applicable) have all been taken into account. Having considered the content of your letter we are prepared on this occasion to cancel this notice."
"The vehicle was observed by our operative to be parked after the expiry of paid time. You are required to pay for and display a valid ticket for the duration of parking. As this vehicle did not meet this condition we uphold our operatives decision."
So they've cancelled the ticket! Success!0 -
Great!
Was that from using the NEWBIES thread appeal template?

They really hate that template, as they know you are on this forum!
So desperate are the scumbag PPC industry, that they send people here to post and try to take people off the tried & tested track to win.
Glad it worked so easily for you!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I thought that might be the case. I imagined them opening the email, rolling over and giving up.
I'm glad that the template alone was enough to prevent them from taking it further.
I will be writing to my MP too (not that they are particularly useful these days)!0
