in money saving news, ive meal planned for the next week, so only small top up shop required mid/end of week, and i have saved £15 worth of morrisons vouchers, so im hoping they will cover a few essentials later in the week :)

We have bought paint to finish landing, and do our bedroom. We plan to have all diy/decorating/new kitchen /carpets completed for june 2016 in readiness for putting it on the market.

I'm planning a money saving couple of weeks, watching the pennies, to hopefully help with paying for our divan/paint expenses that were extra this month.

Getting work clothes ironed, pack up done in readiness of a new week, hope to get 2/3 gym sessions in this week, and stick to my lower calorie intake, as frustratingly the weight isnt shifting, its so annoying

    Have a lovely evening everyone!

    Sammy x :):)

Hi Alchemilla! we plan to move to the edge of the pennines, we havent got any place set in stone yet, just a few yorkshire rural areas in mind. We are just going to start looking as soon as we have seen a broker, and know how much we can borrow in early summer 2016.

Today ive had a NSD, stuck to diet (no fatty treats!), and one zumba class done in my quest to get rid of the love handles !

    Car Insurance Carver!
Wow you have smashed that mortgage!! Im so excited for you, the country step should be amazing! Not sure I could hold off until 2016, but I am a strange combination of obsessive/undecided with most things I do!

I will look into Premium bonds, was thinking about putting some money into moneycircle or something similiar but I dont have much and dont want to lose any, therefore premium bonds could work!

    Best of luck!

Thanks for dropping by jodles! im really looking forward to our move, i cant wait! but we are sticking to our financial plan, to make the move as smooth as possible, and get as much property for our money we can!:):j

I think premium bonds are great for saving , you have the excitement of a possible win to keep you going, instant access if an emergency happens, and can add from a £100 a month upwards each month, each individual can now hold £50,000 tax free each, and your money is safe.

On my money saving for today, ive bought £59 worth of chocolate bars and crisps, to start a little tuck shop at work, im going to see if it makes enough to make it worth while. ill give it till xmas, see if i can make a little extra for our move to the country fund :)

Great idea on the tuck shop! :T
a penny picker upper. MFW approx 78% to go | FIRE 3 years worth (30% savings rate: now aiming for 40%!) | Normality is a paved road; it's comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow on it | Whatever you're meant to do, do it now. The conditions are always impossible | The only thing you absolutely have to know, is the location of the library
