Would be better if the email contained your address or some other personal information so you know its genuine. Abit like banks do by including your postcode so you know its from them

The way they're doing it is leaving it open to abuse by scammers

I received a message from Protect Claims. Suspecting this was a scam, I called and verified with CAA as it was a very simple, quite poorly formatted email. Having confirmed it was genuine, I sent the required documents yesterday (again....as I had already sent these to the CAA with my claim).

Today I have received a confirmation from Protect Claims that "I should expect to receive a response within 60 working days. That would make almost 120 days in total from my original claim with the CAA. Complete utter shambles.

    1) you have asked the same question in multiple threads. Ask it in one.
    2) try quoting someone if you are asking them a question based on their post
    3) it is "heard" and not "herd"

Can we drop the bad manners to members?

    Thomas Cook affected many people.

Be nice to members. ESPECIALLY ONES AFECTED BY THOMAS COOK.

    I won't ask again.
