Hi all,
Just a small success story, thanks to MSE drilling into me the need to haggle and take on the mighty BT. I did just that! Yesterday my fees for ultra fibre and full HD tv plus sky sports was a whopping £88.76!!! Armed with all fellow MSE fans stories I phoned BT spoke to a fine young man who brought the price down to £55.34 good for me........, but wait didn’t Martin advise to proceed to disconnection team?? Ok let’s go to disconnections, really nice guy again(well done BT) so off we went with my pricing concerns and hey presto, not only a brilliant £33.99 fixed admittedly for 18 months! But love the service anyway! But a free ultra HD box and plugs to stop the need for the need for cables. Happy days.
With thanks MSE,
Nigel

What is this Ultrafast fibre FTTP ?? Speed ??
It's g.fast FTTC, up to 300mbps IIRC.
It's not particularly widespread at the moment and there's been talk recently of BT abandoning it to have another go at FTTP.
