  So £207.5m was stolen and £39.3m recovered (19%).
  
  We are forever hearing about victims, but there never seems to be any news reports of APP scammers being prosecuted.

  More often than not long gone with the money using fake details. Given the customer tends to get refunded. Unless it is a major scam the police are not interested.
