Ebay account hacked! Large amounts involved.

It does seem to be a scammers paradise. My husband recently sold a computer console and I was a nervous wreck, nagging him to make sure that he didn’t sell to anyone with zero or very low feedback, to make sure that he took serial numbers etc, and to use a proper tracked method of posting.
I only know about all of that because I read this board!
I’ve had no further problems, touch wood....but am steering clear of eBay for a while. I only spotted it on Saturday night by sheer chance "I may be many things but not being indiscreet isn't one of them"0 -
Two more hacked accounts?

Both seem to have an endless supply of shredders for sale at about half the price of any other seller.0 -
I seem to be selling bunsen burners on my account! :rotfl: So I spoke with customer services via online chat. They gave me an 0800 number to speak to their fraud squad - said they were limited as to what they can do.
Anyone called the 0800 number at all? I am being extra cautious and making sure the numbers are legit before I call.I am better than no-one but no-one is better than me.0 -

I only ever call an 0800 number but without the rest of the number I couldn't say if it's the one I call or not.
If you have access to your account have you tried getting a PIN via the help pages and that way you get the number to call.0 -
