lighting connector adapter to moto charger

Hi All

Wasnt sure where to put this thread, tech thread or here?

I have a moto g7 , i believe it is a fast charger phone, what i need is some sort of adapter that converts a lighting charger for my wifes iphone cable (which is routed into her car stereo) into whatevers suitable for the g7 ?

Not sure what you want.

Do you want to connect moto G7 to your car stereo?
If yes, you can do it by bluetooth.

Or do you want a standard usb c cable such that you can charge your phone?

or do you after lighting to usb-c adaptor?

That link, the item says doenst support audio or video so i was making the assumption that it would work on `carplay`

My wife has a cable routed from the back of a touch screen after market stereo/info centre thing, and that cable is a lighting cable and pops up in the arm rest cubbyhole, so i was hoping to convert that into the USB-C end that goes into my MOTO G7 and therefore use maps etc on the stereo

Ah, Android Auto. Get a USB-C cable, and look for a Lightning adaptor for the end of it. Carplay may not work through it though. Also check the advice on your other thread. Mentioning Carplay in your original posts would have helped a lot. (An afterthought - you have checked that the stereo supports Android Auto, haven't you?!!)

Good stuff. This, on Amazon, for £9, seems to give you USB-C, Micro USB AND Lightning charging and data. Haven't tried it obviously but worth a go....

too expensive.
I purchased a 3 in 1 charging cable come with usb type c, micro usb and lighting head for £1.50 at pound stretcher 3 weeks ago.

neither of them turn my lead from the stereo coming out (lightning) to a port for a usb-c cable but i appreciate your help

There are adaptors you can find in any tech shop. There are a lot on Amazon, just pick a good brand. Syncwire and Anker are good brands I've tried before.

Ebay has them from Germany @ £3.50 approx.

I used the search term < lightning socket to usb c > to find some.
