The landline started ringing at 7.45.
A lot of people locally are being plagued by scam calls and I am sadly one of them.
Not sure if I can unplug phone and keep broadband.

Morning Beanie
Blimey that's an early start for silly phone calls, glad you've managed to turn the ringer off. We have a landline but never answer it because everybody we want to speak to has our mobile numbers. 
Have you any nice plans for the weekend? Will you be seeing DS or your Mum or are you having a quiet one at home? xx0 -

So annoying when that happens with the landline. I can't hear the phone from my bedroom but have had scam calls from 'T@lkT@lk' for years. There was a data breach years ago when they got subscribers names, phone numbers and other details. It seems to go in fits and starts but sometimes it can be 4 or 5 calls in a day. I alternate between swearing, slamming the phone down and cackling manically at them. Rant over grrrr :mad::mad:0 -
