It is about votes, and part of wider government moves to be tough on property hogging and the causes of property hogging (except that they and their rich mates will have ways round and loopholes to jump through probably, or maybe they like being in power more than property hogging, who knows?) Basically Joe Soap Property Guru is going to be sacrificed so that they can soak up some renter votes, although I don`t think it will help much with the voter punishment that is coming their way for trying to derail Brexit.0 -
