    Works for me too.

I'm pleased it has been lowered as this is something I have wanted to put into for several years, but the 100 minimum was always stopping me.

I have no expectations with them, I just like the idea of holding a couple of hundred in PBs for a rainy day

Sorry can't quote or tag as on my phone!

Shame they didn't change the odds such that someone with 25 has a meaningful chance of winning anything.

perhaps this is the government's way of admitting that most people who don't already own their own home won't be able to unless they are lucky.

With the minimum winning 25 make sense to be able to reinvest winnings. However this may be ahead of other changes in the prize distribution lots more 25 winning prizes and a reduction in the higher prizes.

But that make is less like gambling. May have to reconsider premium bonds if that the case.

DH has held 25 for over 45 years...never won a penny!! They were gifts from his grandparents when he was little.

He's waiting for "the BIG ONE" !!!

I had 20 in Premium Bonds bought for me as a child.

In 50 years I had one win of 100

I will be keeping 25 in Premuim Bonds for nostalgia.

    This is not investment advice.
Your money may go "down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... I got all tricked up and came up to this thing, lookin' so fire hot, a twenty out of ten..."

I tried to invest 30 in my premium bonds just a couple of weeks ago ... only to the receive a letter saying that the amount had be returned to my bank account because the minimum amount was 50 (not 100).

Wasn't any mention in that letter that they were planing to reduce it to 25.
