Cancelling Voda contract in cooling off period

Hi, I am going away soon and I am looking for the best company to use in the caribbean. Vodafone's red contract looks great and has all of the roaming options that I need but I don't want a 12 month contract.
What is stopping me from ordering the 12 month red contract using it whilst I am away and then cancelling within the 30 day cooling off period?
I know its a bit naughty but can they charge me a premium for usage after I try and cancel?

I think nothing, but there are monthly 'Red' contracts that you don't need a cooling off period to cancel, just a 30-days' notice.0

Unfortunately Vodafone dont offer roaming plus for 30 day contracts.
Ive ordered a contract with every intention of keeping it now. Its not a bad deal after all lol0 -
I am no expert, but are you sure about 'Caribbean' destination?
I see £6/day extra in most countries there. Not much, if you know and are prepared to pay.0
