Lidl - Radio Controlled clocks are back

These clocks have been in the news before.

Beware: these clocks are for (most of) Europe only so run one hour fast in the UK.

    Ha Ha
That's just brilliant! At least no one who uses one over here is likely to be late! :D

Ive had a cheap Lidl weather station for about 12 months. I tried changing the time settings a number of times but it always reverted to "euro time" . .

Sooo . . . I looked deeper into the settings and found the correct way to alter it.

It's fine now, don't know if these clocks are the same ;)

These clocks are analogue. The only way I can think of is to loop a piece of wire over the hour hand and physically pull the hand back an hour. This would, of course, invalidate the 3-yr guarantee and could possibly damage the movement. I didn't investigate how easy it might be to gain access to the hands.

    Indeed.
Radio controlled clocks correct themselves via a signal from an atomic clock, but the signal for Central European Time originates from a different location than the signal for GMT.
