Thank you very much Redx and Thewhitehousescat. I'll come back on here when the rejection code comes through then.

They might well cancel now, but if not, you will win at POPLA with this 'golden ticket'!

Update: Parking Eye replied to the appeal saying that my friend hadn't provided the name of the driver and "ParkingEye have placed this charge on hold for 28 days to enable you to provide the evidence requested. If this information is not provided within 28 days, the appeal may well be rejected and a POPLA code provided."

More than 28 days have passed but he has not received a rejection letter or POPLA code. However, today he received a payment reminder.

Where do we go from here? We need a POPLA code to appeal to them.

    Many thanks.

    Has it been 35 days?
If so, email them and state that accoridng to the BPA CoP the time for them to reject the appeal has now passed, and the appeal is considered automatically accepted.
You require confirmation that this ticket has been cancelled.

Yes, it was 35 days on Saturday, 18th August. Do you know their email address? When they emailed on 16th July it was from a noreply email address so I don't know if a reply would get through. I can't find an email address on their website.

    appeal@ works.

Hi. He tried emailing appeal@parkingeye.net and it was rejected. Will he just have to write a letter?

Edit: Maybe he used the wrong domain name. He's going to try appeal@parkingeye.co.uk.

    enforcement@ - try that.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Why are you doing anything at all? Just ignore the begging letter and wait.
