G24 have never taken anyone to court. Whilst this could change in the future I would say it's highly unlikely you would be their first ever claim.0

Well for a start... [STRIKE]you[/STRIKE] the driver didn't see the signs the first time around, so they couldn't have been that prominent.0

I wasn't there, the mrs took my car. I've been back since to see how she managed to miss the signs. If I'm being brutally honest she should have seen them but I won't tell her that! (or the court) lol0

OK, my mistake. I've adjusted my earlier post.

            And pst 14....!
Yes, its basically attempte fraud isnt it? But apparently the SRA dont care that their members have pimped out the letterhead for robably £5 a go.
One way to prove it isnt real is to SAR Gladstones, under the PCN ref and NOT the DRP ref. They will not have ANY records, and you can then shout to the SRA with prooiof theyre !!!!!!!!ting.
Free to do as well.0 -
Why not just talk among yourselves by pm with others exactly the same?

Hi, I too am fighting a battle at the moment with these people. My daughter works at Dunelm, i drop her off in the morning, drive myself to work, then pick her up after her shift has finished.
I receved a letter stating that i had parked my car for more than 4 hours!!!
The manager at Dunelm has even had my car registration listed due to the error of the camera, obviously i was not parked up in a car park for over 4 hours, i did not even park my car, just drove in and out again within 60 seconds. The camera system must have been faulty and therefore filmed y car going in at around 9 in the morning, then on my return to pick my daughter up, leaving the car park at 3.30. I cant win, no matter what i say, the lady on the end of the phone is arrogant, its so frustrating because im not lying...
They want CCTV footage of me entering my place of work as proof..we dont have cctv footage.
Now i have the Glastones solictors letter to.
Lost for words with these people, utter joke.0 -
Send a complaint to the Information Commissioner, using their online complaints form, stating that G24 know that this was 2 visits and that this is a known flaw of ANPR systems recorded thousands of times per year, and even admitted by the BPA:
https://www.britishparking.co.uk/ANPR
As with all new technology, there are issues associated with its use:a) Repeat users of a car park inside a 24 hour period sometimes find that their first entry is paired with their last exit, resulting in an ‘overstay’. Operators are becoming aware of this and should now be checking all ANPR transactions to ensure that this does not occur.
b) Some ‘drive in/drive out’ motorists that have activated the system receive a charge certificate even though they have not parked or taken a ticket. Reputable operators tend not to uphold charge certificates issued in this manner
Stop trying to resolve things with scammers over the phone.
Show the ICO proof that the retailer landowner has 'whitelisted' your car and make sure you DO NOT word your complaint to the ICO as if it is an 'appeal'. what you need to say is that G24 are UNLAWFULLY processing your data even though they know it's a typical 'double visit' error and that you believe they are breaching the ICO ANPR/surveillance Camera guidelines by operating 24/7 and ignoring the retailer's and driver's evidence that this was two short visits, a known flaw of these systems.
Show the ICO that BPA link too - you must show the ICO some evidence that ANPR is flawed and that in your case, it failed and that G24 are processing your data illegally.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
