Is £84pm for BT Broadband and Calls expensive?

The package listed on the bill is:
  • Broadband and Calls
  • BT Infinity Option 2 and Evening and Weekend calls

The phone part also includes:
  • BT Answer 1571 with BT Call Protect
  • BT Privacy at Home - Caller display
Just seems expensive at £84pm, especially when I see some PlusNet packages around £35pm.

Edit: I should add that the cost of calls is largely covered by the free evening and weekend part of the package. So the last bill included about £1.60 of calls.

How do you manage to pay £84 for that?

    BT Infinity Option 2 £59.99
    Evening and Weekend calls £4
BT Answer 1571 with BT Call Protect £3
BT Privacy at Home - Caller display £1.75

That is a lot, in fact it's more than current list price, as other have mentioned if you are outside of any minimum term, you could easily reduce the price, in fact if you log onto your online account there will already be an 'offer' of a reduced price (to renew for a new minimum term) or call, say you are leaving , and see what they offer to keep your business, it seems to get the very best deal is to start the ball rolling migrating to another provider , retensions then contact you with their best deal

I moved when they upped the monthly bill to £73 a couple of years ago, and I had a £15 TV and free sports package in with that. I considered £73 to be way too much, although they tried to get me to pay for the remaining months of the contract I just sent the CEO an email after everything else failed and asked for a copy of the letter, which I never got, plus proof of postage of the letter and receipt of the letter.
Someone please tell me what money is
