Hi I have received 2 fines
One ticket on windscreen on 4/3/18
And one parking charge notice sent to my house from 2/3/18 which I received today 9/3/18

Both are saying it!!!8217;s £100 per day fine but discounted to £60 each if paid within 14 days

car park used for residents and businesses
What can I do to appeal or should I just pay the fines,

Only worried as Car wasparked there for a few days there now and hope no more tickets come

Thanks for any help

Have you missed 'NEWBIES PLEASE READ THESE FAQS FIRST', 2 clicks back, where you started.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD
  • I have I!!!8217;m just confused with ipc and bpa, would I send and email using the blue letter template with both the reference numbers for my tickets and what would happen from that?
    Thanks agin

    You have not been fined.

Does the windscreen ticket relate to the postal NTK?

If they really do refer to two separate incidents then you need to appeal twice.

Use the template twice - once with each PCN number.
  • Carlos,

I have experienced the exact same issue except I am a bit further down the line in terms of the debt collectors writing to me and calling up.

My initial mistake was not to appeal early on so make sure that you do using the newbie section as CM mentioned for further details of what to say. They are likely to refuse your appeal at which point you can take it forward from there to independent appeal.

There are a lot of great people in this forum who can help you with any stage of your process but look at the newbie thread first

It’s strange they put a ticket on one day
And same company sent letter about parking there but for another day

I will appeal twice now.. but once I send them a copy of the template will they drop the fines straight away or will they escalate it to debt collectors
And what should I do if I get more fines in the post

Please stop using the word 'fine'.

Have a read of ollie-ollie's thread.

    Sorry

I have now printed the 2 copy’s of template with my reference numbers and will post it recorded delivery. But what is the chances of them being dropped straight away, I don’t want debt people goi to my family house while I’m away at uni

    Thanks again

Don't use "recorded delivery" (now "signed for")

Get a foc cert of posting from the post office

Read up in the Newbies FAQ thread on how this will progress

(The appeal won't end it - you won't get any debt collectors at your door !!)

Also is there no way to email my appeal, just want this gone. Fell like letter sending takes too long
And on the uk cpm it says if I appeal and its unsecsessfull I will have to pay full parking charge 100£ for each one.
Or is this just a scare tactic as it feels that way
