Return Case - Not received still outstanding despite item been deliveredtanding

I had a buyer open a case stating item not received. Again very premature in raising the case IMHO.
Paypal naturally ringfenced the money.
I uploaded the tracking. According now to RM the buyer now signed for it & been delivered. This has been recorded on Ebay as delivered.
Looked in my paypal and the funds appear to be been released. However, despite asking the buyer to close the case it is still live & outstanding.
What do I do just sit it out & it will automatically close? It looks like I do have the cash now.

I'd phone ebay tomorrow and ask them to close the case based on the tracking.

If you have tracking you can escalate the case yourself. You then get the added benefit of the buyer being unable to leave you any feedback.

Yes as long as you have tracking and it shows delivered you should win. Any problems with eBay then ring PayPal. PayPal in my opinion values good sellers and supports them whereas eBay just want your money. Any problems and I'd always just ring PayPal but make sure you go to your seller dashboard and check you don't have any transaction defects from it , which you may well have and you need to get that removed by eBay.

If it's an Ebay case there is nothing to gain from ringing Paypal.

When eBay have refunded an item that I had left Royal Mail signed for tracking for on the dispute which showed it was waiting for it to be collected from local post office by the buyer eBay STILL refunded buyer . I rung and they said there wasn't anything they can do as it was found in favour of buyer with the item not received dispute .
I then rung PayPal who saw tracking and fully refunded me within 2 mins of talking to me so i know from experience that this is true.

All sorted thanks. Closed in my favour.
However, my paypal balance didn't change afterwards, so the money wasn't ringfenced. I was surprised with as I thought they ringfenced every case funds!

Sorry to rehash this all again.

I have logged into my paypal account this morning and the funds have been ringfenced. The reason stated an ebay case has been started and says I should long into my Ebay acount to see the issue.

I must admit, I am getting a bit peeved with this. The case is now closed from ebay in my favour last week. The money was never ringfenced. However now, the case has been closed the money has been ringfenced.

Who did I contact is it ebay or paypal? Never had this before.

    Thanks

I looked on paypal. Says on 28th status is placed and paypal are reviewing & will get in contact with me soon?
Has buyer appealed? It hasn't said anything in my ebay?
