Opening a new ISA

I think I can do this but just checking....

I have various ISAs holding money from previous years and have this year transferred one of them to a new provider (fixed rate) without adding any new money. Can I transfer another of these existing ISAs to another provider splitting the funds into a variable rate account and a fixed account?

What do you think?

Thanks

Phil

You can do what you like with previous years' ISA money (subject to the ISA account T&Cs). It's new ISA money paid in since 6th April that you have to keep together.
