Samsung G600- help

Hi. I would like some help please with using the above phone (I know it's an ancient one),I need to turn off the message sent receipt on the texts as I am being charged for this from Orange.

Have you tried this.....go to messages > settings > text messages > sending options and then uncheck the "request delivery receipt" box.
