Yes that is correct, I cannot see anything wrong with that as you are a couple and treated as a couple for benefits purposes and are supposed to support each other. I do not think it is terrible, it seems perfectly reasonable.0 -

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -
Seems like some of you are just speculating and don't actually know the answers.
Incapacity Sick benefit just contacted me and it appears I am eligible for long-term sick benefit (which is approx £90 per week) because I was on long term sick just last August.0 -

But you will not be eligible for Income Support, which is what you were asking about. There's no such thing as "Incapacity sick benefit".0 -

No I am not speculating and do know the answers.
If you were on IB contributions based you will receive this.
If you were on IS due to incapacity and received IB credits but no IB you will not be paid this as your wife works.0 -
Well, this IS just a message board. Still, at least we got a happy ending.0

You seem to be confused as to what you were receiving previously - were you receiving IB + IS, or just IS? Your previous posts only refer to IS.Gone ... or have I?0
