Am I entitled to Income Support and Incapacity Benefit?

I have recently been written off work by my doctor for 4 weeks and want to claim for income support and incapacity benefit.
I am married and have no children, my wife works full time though. Does this means I can not get any benefits?
Am I entitled to any sick benefit? I was claiming income support just last year in August but was not married at the time.

In which case you would need to claim ESA, unless you have an underlying entitlement to IB. When did you last claim IB?Gone ... or have I?0 -

I claimed within 2 years so they are "linking my claim" apparantly.
But I don't get any income support according to man I just spoke to at DWP.
Did you only receive IB Credits before?Gone ... or have I?0 -

In that case you will not receive any money because your wife works full time. You would still receive NI credits as long as your claim continues.0 -

You mean to say that I'm not entitled to any benefits whatsoever just because my wife works full time?! That's terrible, how am I supposed to get by?0 -
Depending on your wife's salary, you may get help with rent from LHA and, of course, Council Tax benefit.0
