The very best people to fall for a TOTAL SCAM are those that have been caught before.
You cannot sell timeshare because it has NO VALUE
You cannot give timeshare away for free,so why would anyone pay you for it?.......................A timeshare resale company will only buy your timeshare AFTER THEY HAVE FOUND A MUG TO BUY IT,and will charge you listing fees even if they dont sell it..........Political?....I dont do Political....well,not much!0 -
To get out of timeshare YOU JUST STOP PAYING THE ANNUAL FEES.
Dont reply to any correspondence with them.or they will brainwash you to pay them even more money...............JUST WALK AWAY.Political?....I dont do Political....well,not much!0 -
My mum and dad have a timeshare that they have not used for 12 years and not paid for for 3 years, the company wants £1200 off them, can they legally just not pay it? what can happen if they just say no?
Thanks jim0 -
They need to check the Ts & Cs of the agreement they signed but chances are they can't simply decide not to pay any more and walk away. If they do owe the company the £1200 (e.g. for non-cancellable annual management/maintenance fees or whatever) then if they don't pay it they should expect to be contacted by debt collectors, either from the company or whoever they sell the debt to.My mum and dad have a timeshare that they have not used for 12 years and not paid for for 3 years, the company wants £1200 off them, can they legally just not pay it? what can happen if they just say no?

Probably worth shifting this to a more suitable forum as it isn't related to credit cards, maybe try the Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning one, where there are other posts about cancelling timeshares....0 -
Hello Pedro, That sounds like a scam. That happened to me, I had to use a claim service to get out of mine. They were called Timeshare Help, they did charge me but it wasn't too much and it was after my contract was canlceled and they actually did what they said they would. I hope you can get out of your timeshare.0
