For me it goes....
1. O2
2. Vodafone
3. Orange
4. T-Mobile
5. Three
My reasons for O2; they generally don't network lock phones, offer good value for money and offer good retention deals.
I would have said Orange for their customer service but they are just to expensive and didn't offer me any retention package whatsoever.

Three is fine for me and my partner, now they've seemingly sorted all their past problems (dodgy line connections and iffy mobiles). They are very competitivly priced so gets my vote.0

voted none - had experience with all in last 5 yrs, albiet voda was the only payg but also best customer care & tariff (STC) hands down & now free weekends

T-mobile disgrace - error after error
o2 nearly up there with T-mobile, 9/10 times customer care clueless
3 - handset & customer care issues, then account problems, customer care clueless
Orange - contract went back within 14 days lack of customer care, e-mailing several times & got no responce on basic info, so back it went a few weeks ago
all in all customer care has gone downhill since late 2000, prior to that o2 and 121 were great @ looking after you, now your just a revenue number not a person who needs service, u sign ur contract now and there not botheredIf I helped or saved you money - Thank me
If I helped you spend some money - spank me
If I done both - :lipsrseal me:eek:

I voted 02, as I think they have always offered good value for money and there customer service has improved in the last couple of years
you forgot to include, Virgin, Tesco and all the other "piggy back" networks in the poll

I have to say O2 at the moment. If you asked me this question a few years ago I would have said Orange hands down but since they have been bought out they have gone downhill!"He's a maniac, maniac that's for sure,
He will kill your cat and nail him to the door"

Voted o2, havent been with them before but I definately know when a network is good! Just joined up with them quite recently, and their customer service will not disappoint. Even got refunded about 50 quid for calls that I made because of wrong information given to me by one of their reps. And no fuss, believe me.
Have had orange before, they were OK in the old days. Loved calling up the customer service at 3am to check on when my contract was ending! They are just plain expensive now, or rather not so money-saving tariffs.
Had vodafone for the first year I arrived in the UK, never went back to them after that. Its not that they were no good, its just that they didn't have any good deals after then.
And regarding T-Mobile, no idea. Bro has a contract with them, but I guess as long as you don't need to speak to Customer service, everything is good. Used to hear horror stories about them before, don't know if that is still true.0 -
thanks everyone for your replies
O2 is 'roaming' ahead0 -
Cant remember who I voted for, but I have only ever had One2One, Orange and Vodafone and been really happy with all of them.0

I've been with all of the big 5 on contract. Also been with Voda, Orange, Virgin and Tesco on PayG.0
